Getting back into your fitness journey can be tricky! Between work, back to school, family obligations, and events, it can seem impossible to add anything else to your plate! Your fitness may take a back burner to everything else going on. But it’s time that you put yourself first!
Find your WHY first
Why are you getting back into fitness? Write it down and hang it on a wall to remind yourself on tougher days to keep going!
Set attainable goals
Oftentimes, we initially set these crazy goals. When we don’t meet them, we get frustrated and give up. Begin by setting attainable goals, such as working out 4 days a week for 30 minutes.
Re-define what exercise means to you
Exercise doesn’t have to be dreadful! Think of activities you enjoy doing! It could be dancing, yoga, boxing, at-home workouts, walking, or anything that brings you joy!
Create a schedule and commit to it
Mark in your calendar four days during the week for your workouts. Make it a priority, just like any event!
Find an accountability partner
Find a partner to make your fitness journey fun and keep you on track to accomplishing those fitness goals!
