National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In the month of October, we are observing National Breast Cancer Awareness Month here at Allied Wellness. Breast Cancer is one of the most common cancers in the United States. Breast cancer starts in the cells of the breast. The group of cancer cells can then invade the surrounding tissues and spread to other areas of the body. 60 to 70% of people with breast cancer have no connection with risk factors at all. 30 to 40% of people with risk factors will never develop cancer.
